ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admission to First year Engineering is done through centralized admission process conducted by Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State Mumbai. Merit for admission is decided based on the score in the MH-CET for Engineering to be conducted by DTE in May every year. Notification regarding this will be published by the Government in leading news papers and details of rules and regulations and dates of schedules shall be given in the brouchure to be issued by DTE

Admission to First Year Engineering shall be done under two stages

[a]CAP Round : Under CAP round three types of quota of seats will be alloted.

[i]     Government Quota       :  65%
[ii]     Management Quota     :  20%
[iii]    AIEEE Quota              :  15%

[b]Admission to Seats falling Vacant after CAP rounds
Seats falling vacant after the CAP rounds are over shall be allotted by the head Head of the Institute through advertisement and after preparing the relative merit list of the candidates applying for these vacant seats. The call for applications for these seats shall be advertised in any one of the following news papers:

Candidates should apply in the prescribed forms available at College office in response to the advertisement. The merit list shall be be displayed in the College notice board and the last of reporting also shall be displayed. Candidates should report accordigly and take admission by paying the requisite fee and depositing the necessary documents.


QUALIFYING EXAMINATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY

1A) The candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Std. XII) of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Pune or its equivalant examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics & English as the subject with not less than 50% marks in the subject of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics taken together at one and the same sitting (45% marks in the subject of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics taken together at one and the same sitting fo Backward Class candidates for Maharashtra State only)

OR

1B) The candidate should have passed the Indian school Certificate (Std. XII) examination or any other equivalant Higher Secondary (Std. XII) examination of council or board outside Maharashtra State with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects and secured not less than 50% marks in the subject of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics taken together at one and the same sitting.
