Computer Department is one of the major Departments of this Institution We have the main Computer Center as the hub of all the activities .With more than 400 computers we are maintaining a Student to Computer Ratio 1:4 as per the AICTE norms. The computers are the best brands mainly IBM and Wipro with PIV processor at 1.7 M Hz . Each student can have one dedicated Computer to himself or herself .The Department has six major Laboratories for imparting practical training to all the subjects laid down in the curriculum. There are 4 LAN setups in the labs. |

main server room is located with the main Computer Centre
.There is mail server to take care of the mails of each student and
staff .The complete power supply has been backed up with APC
UPS systems which are considered as world's No.1 .The Department has
acquired all the latest software and packages for the development
of programmes by students.
INTERNET CONNECTIVITY Internet connectivity is provided by Reliance Communication at a bandwidth of 2 MBPS with unlimited down load facility. There is a Xeon based server with firewall and independent IP addresses to all the major Departments. Intake capacity : 90 seats. |
